With
our arms full of riches,
Ever reaching for more,
With our hearts O so hungry,
Ever needy and poor,
Here we bow to You, Savior,
With no home of Your own,
And we ask in our blindness
For Your riches unknown.
We are
fearful and grasping,
Seeking glory and gold,
Yet so weary of wanting
What our hands cannot hold.
All our wealth has deceived us.
It is never enough.
Here we trade these our riches
For Your riches of love.
We will
treasure You, Jesus,
Not the things we possess.
We will give what is passing
That we gain what is best.
May we share all You give us,
Reaching out to each need.
As we love these our neighbors,
Lord, we love You indeed!
