We are in Christ Jesus.
We will not lose heart.
We will live with courage

Knowing what is lasting,
Drinking deeper joys.

Present in this body,
Absent from the Lord,
Yet we long to please Him,
Looking to His Word.
We are growing stronger
Where He lives within,
Even as our weakness
Gives all praise to Him.

Absent from this body,
Present with the Lord-
Eyes have never seen it,
Ears have never heard;
Pain and death forever
Swallowed up in life;
Standing in His presence,
Now complete in Christ.
