Lyrics

All-transcending, sovereign Lord,
Ruling by Your sovereign Word,
From Yourself all came to be –
Rich, unfathomed mystery!
What a wonder, yet it’s true:
I can simply talk with You.

Holy, high, majestic One,
By Your pure and precious Son
Groaning, dying in my place,
Smeared with all my deep disgrace,
You have made me, through and through,
Pure by simply trusting You.

What more noble could I do?
What else could my heart pursue?
What enticements, what demands
Dare to draw these grateful hands?
This alone will I pursue:
Knowing, lifting, loving You.
