Lyrics

When Christ our healer’s work is done,
No pain and no more death.
We’ll drink Your life in Christ the Son,
Your glory, Your breath.
The shallow pleasures of this earth
Will hold no more appeal.
We’re made for joys of greater worth.
No pain, no more death.

No shame or sorrow, no more night –
Christ will be all in all.
Our Lord will be our one delight.
What joy when He calls!
He’ll lead our souls by quiet streams,
And need will be no more.
No tears, no grief, but joy supreme
With Christ all in all.

With bodies made for heaven’s life,
All will be praise to You!
The day will rise in Christ the Light,
And all will be new!
We’ll feast on heaven’s Bread and Wine
And thirst for Him alone.
Then every breath will be divine,
Our Father, in You!
