Lyrics

A song was born at Christmas
That set the sky ablaze
As joyful sound rang all around
With heaven's highest praise.
Now let us join the brand new song
That lowly shepherds heard.
With heart and voice, O come, rejoice,
That Jesus Christ is Lord!

A star shone down at Christmas,
A light from God's own heart,
A light of love from high above
To lead us from afar.
The wise men came with wondrous gifts,
And still we all may come
To find the King and humbly bring
Our worship and our love.

Our God came down at Christmas,
And we have seen His face.
If we believe, we here receive
The fullness of His grace.
Our God has come to us this day
With peace and hope in Him.
So come, draw near. The Lord is here!
Let Christmas joy begin!
